Joseph Coward Updates.

Joseph Coward's new single ' If you want to get going, get talking to me' is available on 7'' and digital from the 5th of December 2011. His new single is about making a decision to put your money where your mouth is and live in the way you'd like to. On December the 9th Joseph is playing with Hatcham social in Wrexham with Tim Burgess out of 'The Charlatans will be Dj'ing, you have to be exactly 14 and over to go. Everybody go it will be amazing!

  Watch out for up and coming band Wheres Strutter? making a huge and massive break through in manchester over the past couple of months. We got the chance to go to the sold out gig in Moho where they did a gig for under 16s and over 18's and over 18s sold out completly!. I got a chance to meet the lads including Max and got to take some photo's with the legendery photographer Ian Tilton who was the first to take photo's of The Stone Roses and The Charlatans!

 Q1. Who came up with the band's name and how ?   A. A mad house party in Feb 2008 when a live snake named  ''Strutter'' was realased causing panic and mayhem among partygoers especially when no one could find the snake , promoting cries of  WHERES STRUTTER? and the band has its name.

Q2. How long have you been wanting this for and how long have you been playing the guitar for? A.  We hae realy been excited to play this gig since the we booked it! We have all been playing for 5-6 years.

Q3. What's the song Mr Menace about?

A. The song is about falling in witht he wrong crowd and realising the mistakes you've made.

Q4. And last question number 4,Who Writes the songs for the bands?

 A. We all write the songs at band practise, paddy might have an idea then the band will jam untill we have a song written.

Dave MCcab Interview.

It was very kind of Dave MCcab the front man out of the Zutons to kindly let me interview him,here are the couple of questions i asked him

S- 1. When do we expect a new album from you Dave?

D- Am currently making new music and its goin well but need some gigs and a bass player.

S- 2.  Will you be rejoining the Zutons in the future soon?
D- A. I dunno if ill ever join the zutons in the future to be honest

S- 3. What are your influences in music?
D-A. Am currently listening to can and neu and micheal nyman and phillip glass.

S- 4. How old was you when you joined your first band?
D-A. I was 11 when i joined my first band we where called metalshapes and we where proper shite but you gotta start somewhere.

S- 5. What advice can you give to someone who is starting out in there first band?
D- A. My advice to someone starting out in a band is enjoy it and make sure you dont sell ya self short and trust your instincts.

REPLICAS

Who are the Replicas? Two girls who form the band called REPLICAS who are London Based. The Main singer Plays electric Guitar gorgeous, Whilst her Duet Partner( Ashiya Eastwood ) Play's the Keyboard and also sings with so much thoughts, feelings and sound. Who was there founder? There founder is Tim Burgess The Exstrodinary man who is the Main Singer of the band (The Charlatans) Which is a well known band which has been going know for 21 Years exactly. People who are involved with REPLICAS. the label is called O Genesis ( you can find this page on Facebook) Nick Void Tim Burgess Joseph Coward Nick Fraser you can find these people on Twitter, Facebook,Websites, Ect. The Replica's are not a very known band, just yet but I have been to see them before,when they were supporting the charlatans in St Helens, I enjoyed them alot, they have a beat in there music which is so unknown and great!, there a very unique duet band that I like alot my self. They dress cool and you should get into them because there music is cool, there both cool altogether I love the Replicas. Watch out! New Single out on the end of September, watch out, these are going to be big, even I know that, and im only thirteen :)               They where playing in Manchester in the O Genisis Present's - on Saturday the 3rd September, and I couldent go because I was under age :( I was stamping my feet like a baby because I love them so much.                               I Love REPLICAS Saffron Rose X

I love Tim Burgess

 I remember the day exactly when i met Tim Burgess in St Helens in there gig,which was called Tim and Mark from the Charlatans. It was on Wednesday the 27th of july 2011. I called Tim out of the Glass doors so i could meet him and i had a shock! because he just came straight out and asked me and my mum how we were. I gave him a hug and i was talking to him about the concert. Joseph Coward was also in the Glass doors and the REPLICAS, i didnt get to meet them though. Tim was so loverly and friendly, wish i could bring that day back agian. I asked tim to sing deadlove for me in the gig and he never let me down, i was the happiest girl alive, that was my favourite song of all time, but the thing is.. its a quite sad song..

I enjoyed all of the songs he played,  i love all of them so much, mark is so good on acoustic and electric, Tim was Brilliant on the Acoustic when they played some songs. Before they went on stage I handed Mark( Guitarist) my ticket and Tim&Mark him self signed my ticket, i was so happy, Loved that day it was amazing! and so unbelieveble.

I have discovered a new sound!

 And a new sound it is, Unlike your Justin or teeny bop tunes hes even cooler than Indie as a bang on trend kind of thing..think we need a new name for these type of tunes. ( any suggestions Tim b)

As a typical 13 year old I am getting bored of all the same music which is boring ..there is a need for more music like this.

 I am fascinated by Josephs unique songwriting / talent indescribable Genius!

This very cool young man who is only 19, has come very far in a short time, watch out for him big things are happening .. unique recording artist his debut single Jesus Christ is out now on cool vinyl ..with a realy cool video to complement the unique sounds of a morressy & joy division combined.

I went to the acoustic Gig, The Charlatans at The Citadel - St Helens were Joseph supported them,

He was  amazing live, with his cassette recorder placed on the table beside him ( dig the cassette Joseph ) recordings of piano music echoing in the background.While he strums on his guitar.

Signed up by the legendary front man of the Charlatans, Tim Burgess on OGenesis recordings watch out for this label I'm sure itl be big in a few years time, other recordings associated to this label are, The  REPLICAS.. Who we also watched perform there debut single "open arms" which will be released Sept..Amazing ..very cool, girl duo and another unique sound that transfers you to a far a way land.
